At CT Premier, we believe in fearless play, strong teams, and lifelong bonds. Our club was founded to bring world-class water polo and a welcoming, supportive community to athletes of all ages and backgrounds.
Leadership & Coaching
Behind CT Premier is a world-class coaching staff led by Executive Director Scott Schulte, one of the most respected figures in American water polo and the current NY Athletic Club (NYAC) Men’s Head Coach. Our coaches bring experience at the highest national and international levels, but they are just as passionate about mentoring beginners as they are about supporting aspiring collegiate or Olympic athletes.

History
CT Premier Water Polo Club is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to growing the sport of water polo throughout Connecticut and the greater New York area. Our program began in 2013 as the Chelsea Piers Water Polo Club, operating out of the renowned Chelsea Piers Connecticut sports facility.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Chelsea Piers was forced to suspend all programming. When the facility decided in 2022 not to restart its water polo program, CT Premier Water Polo Club was founded to carry forward the legacy and commitment to excellence that began nearly a decade earlier.
